So, I thought it would be a good idea to update my testimonials with a couple from 2010. I took some time to myself this year, and only performed at a handful of wedding receptions, but they have truly pushed me into booking so many more for the 2011 season. I enjoy working with new couples, and have been blessed with some amazing gatherings over the years.

If you are looking for a DJ, do not look anywhere else than Jim. Many of my guests came to me during the reception commenting how great my DJ was and how the music was perfect. Jim did such a great job at catering to my music requests and fitting the music to my guests. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone but Jimmy O.

At first, I had another DJ service paid in full to play at my reception. They emailed me three days before my event that they would not be able to play at my wedding. Three days! I did not recieve a phone call and would not have known if I hadn't checked my email. I was absolutely distraught. I was faced with having to find a DJ last minute during the Sweet Pea festival, one of the busiest times in Bozeman.

Luckily, Jim came to the rescue. I explained to him the situation, and he helped calm me down. His communication skills with his clients are excellent and when the day came for my wedding, his DJ services were flawless. Jim is a seasoned DJ you can depend on. I was so impressed, as were all of my guests, with Jim's talent and reliability. I highly recommend Jim! You will not be disappointed.

John and I would like to take the time and thank you so much for your services and also for taking care of our guests when we were not able to.

You were very professional, yet very easy to get along with from the start! Everything went as planned and ran very smoothly... Then off to the reception to greet our guests as they came in and to have a great time.

While greeting the guests a whisper entered my ear saying, "Irma, I think your dad is having a heart attack in the parking lot." Immediately I took off running down the stairs, JD not far behind, trying to get to the parking lot as quickly as possible! I was expecting to see my father sitting on the bench outside trying to catch his breath, or something to that effect. I was not expecting to see to see my father still in his car in Full Cardiac Arrest, Not breathing and gray in color... As we started CPR and awaited the EMT's to arrive, dismay and shock started to take hold. Meanwhile, you were able to keep our guests in the hall where they were out of the way of the EMT's! You were AWESOME!! You kept our guests updated with our situation and somehow kept them waiting for us to return.

The night got very late and you still made sure everyone was involved either by drinking, eating, or dancing... When we finally returned to the reception hall, to our surprise, there were still guests waiting for us! You did such a great job! Somehow you got those guests to wait for 4-1/2 hours unknowing if we were going to return!

Thank you so very much for staying there and taking care of our guests, even past what we had originally contracted you for! You kept everyone happy, dancing, and socializing when you could have just packed up and left for home when the original "time limit" was up.

You made our reception as good as it possibly could have given the family emergency and worried hearts that roamed the hall! Not many people in this world can keep a crowd of people in one spot just waiting, especially for 4-1/2 hours not knowing what was really going to happen! Thank you doesn't even come close to saying it! You are truly a gifted DJ and we are so happy we were able to have you there with us!

At our July 22 wedding this summer, my bride never had a doubt of who to pick as a DJ. Renae had known Jim from the local scenes and I had heard only great things from her and everyone else. Jimmy sure lived up to our expectations, and then some. After a long, hot day, 225 people let loose after Renae and I made it official, and everyone spent the majority of their time on the dance floor of the Heritage Inn in sheer celebration. He was awesome. He was considerate of everyone’s requests, observant to the pace of the goings on, and he had his fingers on the pulse of the party. He definitely did not disappoint anyone in anyway. If you envision your party to be one of the highlights of your life, whatever the occasion, I’d recommend putting Jim at the tables. Not only did he perform as asked, but he was even a wealth of knowledge that came in very handy to us. We would have been in way over our heads without him. Thanks so much Jim! You were instrumental in making this a lasting memory for the both of us, as well as all of our guests. We appreciate it.

Dear Jim,
Thanks for doing such a great job with our wedding. We couldn't have been happier, and we've gotten a lot of comments from guests on how great the music was. We especially appreciated you meeting with us and the event planner prior to the wedding, having some good early correspondence with us regarding logistics and what kind of music we wanted, and then showing up early at the event. There are enough details to worry about on that day - it's nice to know that at least one element is going to run smoothly. I also appreciated your attention to detail regarding all of the various announcements throughout the night. You really kept us on track, and did a good job of getting everyone's attention when necessary. And finally, the music was perfect. From the dinner music to the dance music, we got a lot of comments that the music was just right. Volume and sound and all that were right on as well. An all around 10 on the night. I would definitely recommend you to anyone - especially if I was going to be at the wedding so I would know I was going to hear some good tunes! Thanks again for a job well done.
